MEET OUR KIDS & FAMILIES
RIVER AND WILLOW
River and Willow and their parents were using a permanent weekday booking, until Mr. River left for big boy school! River and I would spend two days a week together, going to the beach to look for shells, playing beach soccer and swimming, playing playdough and board games at home and reading books/watching movies together.

I met River and his family a few years ago, when I was still working within a normal daycare. River was one of the children in the room I worked in as an assistant, along with Zeek, another family that also utilises the service.
​
Occasionally we were joined by Rivers sister, Willow, when she had a day off school.
Both children love to learn new things, like playing chess, and they love to make craft, like the beautiful cards they made for my birthday.
​
Willow is a smart, independent girl who loves to help in anyway she can. she loves hockey and soccer, and has no issues hitting me in the ankles with a hockey stick to get the ball!
River loves Mario, minecraft and playing outside. He is a funny child who loves to have a quiet day in just as much as a fun trip to activities.

JOHAN AND MONTELL
Johan and Montell were utilising a casual overnight booking while their parents work nightshifts.
​
Usually we are able to have a movie night before they head off to sleep, although there have been occasional days where I have been booked.
​
This opened up the opportunity to go to the beach to swim and have picnics, visit the local library, art gallery and ice cream shop and go swimming in the pool.
​
Johan is a child who is full of energy and loves to do anything and everything. he loves karate, attending the lessons with his dad, kung fu movies and anything that means he can run around and be silly.
​
Montell loves to do arts and crafts, make mess, swim and watch the wiggles. montell could dance along to the wiggles for hours and hours! She has an awesome sense of humor and the cutest laugh you will ever hear.

CLAIRE, KRISTEN AND DYLAN
Claire, Kristen and Dylan live with their lovely mum, Nicole. They utilise a casual weekend booking through NDIS funding.
​
Through this, the children are taken out for fun activities, such as bowling, skating, beach trips, ice cream, lunch and many more things.
​
Dylan is a fun, crazy child who loves to spend time with his sisters and loves anything Mario or Splatoon related.
Dylan loves to cuddle up with me and watch movies, or verse each other on Splatoon.
​
Claire is a beautiful soul with a wicked sense of humour. She loves trying new things and swimming at the beach.
Claire loves anything pokemon related, and could watch it for hours!
​
Kristen is the oldest, and loves to sew, draw, design and test her own abilities.
Kristen is an amazing artist who can create images of pokemon perfectly either on the computer or in her sketchpad.
She loves anything Harry Potter related, and was pretty stoked to get a special lamp from me for her birthday with her favourite HP quote on it.
Kristen accompanies me to the babies and kids markets in Mackay with her handsewn flower hair clips and keychains.
MADDISON, ISABELLE AND DAKOTA
Maddison, Isabelle and Dakota utilise casual holiday care, whilst their parents work during the day.

The girls love going to the park, visiting the beach and playing hairdressers, where they attempt to brush and clip my hair (although its usually my scalp instead)
​
They also love having quiet movie days, going for bike rides, playing tennis and chase in the back yard, painting, drawing and building huge blanket forts in the loungeroom.
ZEEK, AHLI AND MYAH
Zeek, Ahli and Myah utilise a casual weekend booking, for when mum and dad are both working or want to go out for date night.
​
I met Caley and her kids when I was still working in normal daycare, as I was the assistant in Zeeks room, along with River, another family using the service.
​
Zeek is a crazy kid who loves to cause mischief and make his youngest sister, Myah, laugh.
​
Ahli loves to read and write, and help out as much as she can. She is a mini mum in many ways.
​
Myah loves to laugh and giggle, and get her hands on anything her siblings have! she is the worlds best cuddler, and often falls asleep with me in the arm chair.
​
The kids love playing together in the yard, including hide and seek, chase, trampoline jumping and bike riding. They also love getting their nails painted!
